Dr. Dennis Batey joined Presbyterian HealthPlan (PHP) as President in November 2007. Serving 410,000 commercial, Medicare and Medicaid members throughout New Mexico, PHP is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Presbyterian Healthcare Services (PHS). PHS is a non-profit integrated healthcare system which includes eight hospitals and over 500 employed physicians providing services in six New Mexico communities.

Dr. Batey reports to the PHP Board and also serves as a member of the PHS senior leadership team. Under Dr. Batey’s leadership PHP has consistently been recognized as the top-ranked health plan in New Mexico and as the “most preferred payer” in a state-wide independent survey of physicians. Prior to joining PHP Dr. Batey was the Chief Medical Officer for Fallon Community Health Plan (FCHP) in Worcester, MA—a community-based, not-for-profit health plan. From 1997 to 2002, prior to his role at FCHP, Dr. Batey was the CEO of the Preferred Health Network of Maryland—a regional health plan owned by nine hospital systems in the greater Baltimore-Washington DC area. From 1989 to 1997 Dr. Batey held several positions with FHP International, including Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Utah and New Mexico operations. Prior to joining FHP Dr. Batey practiced medicine in Juneau Alaska for eight years.

Dr. Batey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of San Francisco; a Master of Science degree in applied mathematics from Harvard University; a Doctor of Medicine degree from Oregon Health Sciences University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice and the American Board of Medical Management.

In addition, Dr. Batey is on the Boards of a number of non-profit organizations including the United Way of Central NM, the Menaul School, the Alliance of Community Health Plans, and the Health Plan Alliance.

He has two grown children and a 15-year old daughter. Dr. Batey’s hobbies center on being a dad.

Nicole has strong family ties to New Mexico.  The Brady family has been in New Mexico since the 1800's beginning with Nicole's most famous ancestor, her great-great-great grandfather William Brady.  He was Sheriff of Lincoln County during the Lincoln County War, and was shot and killed by Billy the Kid during an ambush in 1878.
Nicole's dad grew up in Alamogordo and Hondo.  Her parents met while attending the University of New Mexico.  Nicole has relatives from Roswell to Gallup and Alamogordo to Espanola.
While Nicole grew up outside of Denver, and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder, she and her husband are proud to call New Mexico home.
Nicole and her husband Brian divide their free time between New Mexico's gorgeous outdoors, and their comfortable couch and television.

Nicole Brady anchors Eyewitness News 4 at 5, 6 and 10 p.m. each weeknight.  Prior to anchoring evenings, Nicole anchored Eyewitness News 4 Today in the morning and Eyewitness News Midday at noon starting in 2005. Nicole joined KOB-TV in 2004 as a general assignment reporter after working at KRCR in Redding, CA.

Greg Frost grew up in East L.A. and made his way to New Mexico via UNM’s football program. Recruited to UNM by Bill Weeks as a wide receiver, he was named co captain of his freshman team.  Greg gained a little weight and earned 2 varsity letters as a linebacker during Rudy Feldman’s first 2 years.

After graduating in 1972, Greg went to work for Bill Burks at American Savings and Loan as his first Management Trainee. 5 years later he was named President/CEO of De Vargas Savings & Loan, becoming the youngest ever in the Savings &Loan industry.
Greg founded Frost Mortgage Banking Group in 1991 which now operates in 9 states . Greg was noted by Mortgage Originator Magazine and National Mortgage News as being the first Billion Dollar Mortgage Originator. Greg is a popular mortgage industry Motivational Sales Trainer and has just returned from New Zealand where he Keynoted the New Zealand Mortgage Brokers national convention.

Ed Holland Executive Chef for Presbyterian, has worked in the Culinary Business for the last 35 years. Ed was Assistant Chef at Harrah’s Casino in Laughlin for 12 years, and was later hired as the Executive Chef for Sandia Casino and wad promoted to Food & Beverage Manager.

Ed’s Grandfather was a Chef and he feels that’s where he got his Passion for cooking and the drive to be an Executive Chef. One thing Ed always remembers to take heart of is to “remember where you came from and you are only as good as your team”. And he feels he has the BEST culinary staff and is very proud of them. His Moto he lives by is “Never Stop Learning and Have Passion for what you do”. Ed’s awards and nominations include:
