MOW Endowment
Albuquerque Meals on Wheels launched a
special program to develop the MOW Endowment so that resources
would always be available to provide needed services to our vulnerable
homebound clients. Five individuals, board
members and volunteers, made donations to help launch the program.
We offer a special thank you to them for helping plant the seeds that
will grow this most worthwhile project.
Our staff and Board of Directors will be working
very hard this year encouraging the Corporate community to recognize the
needs of the homebound and to open their hearts and resources to the
deserving clients that we serve.

"Angel Box Program"
Albuquerque Meals on Wheels provides Angel Boxes to our most needy clients.
These Angel Boxes contain some basic food items to get our clients through
until their next meal is delivered.
The non-perishable items listed below are the types of
foods that are needed to make our Angel Boxes:
- Low Sugar Items
- Canned Meat & Tuna
- Canned Vegetables
- Canned Spaghetti
- Cereal
- Soup
- Canned Fruit
- Applesauce
- Boxed Macaroni & Cheese
- Crackers
- Peanut Butter & Jelly
