Welcome to Meals on Wheels’ Pet Division

Introduction
Many Meals on Wheels clients are homebound. Visits from dedicated MOW volunteers are often the main source of companionship for clients. Beyond this human interaction, pets often serve as a major source of companionship and joy.

An increasing trend is that clients are sharing their meals with pet companions. This not only results in improper nutrition for clients, but also their pets. To address this issue, Meals on Wheels in 2008 launched a pet division that provides nutritious food for the MOW clients’ pet companions.
